Always reliable service

I've been buying tires from Tire Rack for years now. This time I needed some Pirelli performance tires for my sedan, and the process was as smooth as ever. I appreciate that they always have such a good selection, and the shipping to my preferred installer is consistently quick. It took 4 days to reach Phoenix this time. I also like knowing their test results are available. It's why I keep coming back; I trust their product descriptions.

Good tires, fast shipping

I ordered a set of Michelin passenger car tires last week. They arrived at my installer in three days. The price was competitive. Everything worked out well. I'm happy with the purchase.

Decent experience with new brakes

I recently ordered a full brake kit, including rotors and pads, for my truck. The ordering process online was straightforward, and I used their vehicle selector to ensure compatibility, which was helpful. Shipping took about five business days to reach my home in Denver, which was reasonable. All the parts arrived well-packaged and in good condition. I opted to install them myself. The quality seems fine so far, and the truck stops much better now. I had a question about torque specs for the calipers, and their customer service responded to my email within a day with the information I needed. It was a solid purchase, though the selection for my specific truck model wasn't as vast as I initially expected for brake components. Still, I got what I needed.

Got new wheels, they look good

Needed some new alloy wheels for my car, and found some on Tire Rack. The site was pretty easy to use, and I liked how you could see them on your car model. Ordered them, and they got here in about a week, which was fine. They look good on the car, just like I hoped. Overall, a pretty chill shopping experience, no complaints.

My go-to for tires!

I absolutely love Tire Rack! I just got new Goodyear all-season tires for my SUV, and the whole experience was fantastic. Their website made it so easy to pick the right ones, and they shipped directly to my local installer. I've used them before, and they never disappoint. I tell all my friends to check them out. Will definitely be back for more in the future!

Anybody know if Tire Rack ever has promo codes you can just type in at checkout? I keep seeing manufacturer rebates but was hoping for a direct discount code.

A Alex Reyes 2 months ago

Not really, afaik. Most of their deals are those manufacturer rebates or automatic discounts on closeout stuff. They don't usually do those 'enter code here' boxes.

Yeah, I've never seen a traditional promo code. It's almost always the mail-in rebates or specific sales that are already applied to the price.

Quick question on returns. What if I order the wrong size wheels or something, are returns a huge hassle?

K Kevin Silva 1 month ago

Nah, returns were pretty straightforward for me when I ordered the wrong lug nuts. Just start a return online.

I had to return a set of tires once, it wasn't bad at all. They sent me the labels and I just dropped them off. Just make sure they haven't been mounted, otherwise it's a no-go for tires.

Does Tire Rack price match? I found the same tires a bit cheaper at one of the competitor sites.

B Beth Osei 1 month ago

I don't think so, no. I tried that once and they said they don't have a price matching policy.

Pretty sure they don't. Their whole thing is about their testing and info, not usually being the absolute lowest price. You usually have to catch a good rebate.

Hey guys, thinking about ordering some new tires for my SUV. How long does shipping usually take to, say, Dallas?

M Mike J. 2 months ago

Mine got to Houston in about 3-4 days after I ordered. I shipped to an installer though, not my house.

Yeah, I think it depends on where their warehouse is relative to you. For bigger cities like Dallas, I'd guess maybe 3-5 business days max. You can usually see an estimate when you're checking out.

Is it worth getting the road hazard protection? Or is that just an upsell I don't really need?

E Elena Hughes 1 month ago

For me, it was worth it. Hit a pothole a few months after getting new tires and they replaced it, no questions asked. Saved me a bunch.

I always get it. Especially if you live in an area with bad roads or construction. It's cheap peace of mind, seriously.
